Local Cornwall Gay Artist & Sculptor, M Lidbury approached Cornwall Gay Pride to exhibit Pagan & Male Nude Sculptures at the 2011 event

He was refused outright...and worse, the local Cornwall gay artist was subjected too hate correspondence & threats of physical violence...including from some Cornwall Pride supporters & committee members

These threats reported to Devon & Cornwall Police. We are still awaiting Cornwall police to act on the written threats.

Increasingly many lesbians & gay men who fought for gay equality in the 1980's & 90's find themselves excluded & ostracised from some gay organisations funded by institutions traditionally prejudicial against gay people

There is something most sinister about continued discrimination towards gay male art, traditional depiction of male nudity in art & against pagan iconography & art

Especially prejudice in organisations like Cornwall Pride & the Homophobic Cornwall Police

CORNWALL PRIDE 2011 claim 'diversity' is their religion, however Cornish Pagan & Traditional Male Nude Art Sculpture by local gay artist is NOT welcome at their Cornwall Gay Pride

Banned Male Nude Art by Cornwall Gay Artist under ATTACK!

(Above painting which HOMOPHOBIC Cornwall police attempted to prosecute the artist for (unsuccessfully), but which led to the attempted suicide of the gay artist as a DIRECT result of Cornwall police anti-gay misconduct & prejudice)

For some time I have been deeply concerned about the voracious deep seated homophobic attitudes of Devon & Cornwall Constabulary & in particular Cornwall police homophobic motivated atack upon depiction of the male nude in art in Cornwall.

This vile homophobic prejudice on the part of Cornwall police (like DC ANNING of Cornwall CID to name but one anti-gay homophobic police officer to my factual knowledge)has had an adverse knock on effect of gay art censorship & the supporting of anti-gay attitudes towards Cornwall gay History, Art & Culture by the like the loathsome Intercom Trust & Cornwall Pride.

Both Intercom Trust & Cornwall Pride talk about 'equality & diversity' whilst these groups actively exclude informed lesbians & gay men of wider gay History, Art & Culture than simply that of the narrow bandwidth of trashy disco pop & over priced commercial gay bars.

The Intercom Trust attacked the reputable work of Henry Scott Tuke RA in the Intercom Trust bid to erradicate this Cornish based artists work from Cornwall's LGBT history & culture. See Tuke video

Cornwall Police
Cornwall police have relentless homophobically targeted my artwork, intimidating & bullying many who have supported & assisted me in my art. See Video

Ever since Cornwall police (DC Bob Woods)began the Cornwall police homophobic anti-gay vendetta against myself in 2004, leading to my attempted suicide, the admission by police of not one but two arrests & police raids on FALSE ALLEGATION made against me, and Cornwall police having to ADMIT in both court & an IPCC enquiry that there were NO ILLEGAL images on my computer.

However, this has not stopped or deterred this vile anti-gay & deeply homophobic police force under the dubious command of Chief Constable Stephen Otter from repeated acts of intimidation, bullying & dishonest misconduct by numerous named & identified Cornwall police officers, corruption by the professional standards unit in REFUSING to investigate incident after incident of police dishonesty & even criminal police misconduct, such as perjury carried out by police officers like DC Magnus Scott of Cornwall CID.

At least PC May, a Cornwall police officer dismissive of written Death threats & threats of physical violence made against a prior gay hate crime assault victim HAS been sent for further training.

Far better that this PC May homophobic copper had been drummed completely OUT of the Devon & Cornwall police force entirely! However, if every homophobic copper in Cornwall was kicked out of the Devon & Cornwall police force there would not be much of a police force left, although it would help considerably & rapidly reach the targeted cuts in the police budget.

Cornwall police are still very much the HOMOPHOBIC Hate Crime problem!

New Uniform for Cornwall Police???

At first I thought the above picture was the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary new uniform.

Having been driven myself to attempt suicide as a DIRECT RESULT of Cornwall police homophobic misconduct & practises, it seemed entirely feasible.

However, it is actually the profile for an ant-gay Face Book page which 'Wipeout Homophobia on Face Book' are rightly trying to get banned.

Although I can name a number of Devon & Cornwall police officers (mainly stationed at Camborne & Helston police stations & amongst Cornwall CID) who the T-shirt would be entirely accurate. Especially given the refusal of Cornwall police to investigate dishonesty, misconduct & crimes against gay persons instigated & encouraged by identifiable Cornwall police officers.
