Today is a BLOODY GOOD GAY DAY!

Today 29th July 2009 DC 5882 Parker of Devon & Cornwall Constabulary finally admitted in writing that evidence came to light that a serious allegation made several years ago (2007) was indeed a false allegation!

“Hath not a gay eyes”
“Hath not a ‘gay’ hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions?
Fed with the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same diseases, healed by the same means, warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer, as a ‘heterosexual’ is?
“If you prick us, do we not bleed?
“If you tickle us do we not laugh?
“If you poison us, do we not die?
….And if you wrong us, shall we not AVENGE?”

HOO-BLOODY-RAY! Given the police misconduct & homophobic attitudes & practises of Devon & Cornwall police led to my attempted suicide regarding this false allegation & almost the cancellation of the 2007 LGBT Cornwall Pride Beach Day of which I was then Chair! (The 2007 Cornwall Beach Day Pride steering group later disbanded due to concerns regarding this further homophobic misconduct by Cornwall police officers in a catalogue of incidents)

The serious false allegation made against me, in which even a Devon & Cornwall Constabulary were complicit in that a diversity officer LIED to the Pink Paper & other gay media.

The police disregarded other eyewitnesses, disregarded physical evidence, disregarded text messages from the false accuser Jai Prior ADMITTING it was a false allegation! Fortunately a transcript was provided to solicitors.

Further more Cornwall police ONLY arrested the ‘OUT’ gay male out of a group of persons who were all participating equally & acting lawfully & legally.

A simple definition of discrimination “To single out & treat differently a person other than those of equal standing around them”

There is NO question or doubt in my mind of the repeated discriminatory stance of Cornwall police towards gay persons since Cornwall police vendetta began against me (& others)in 2004 initiated by DC Woods & DC Scott.

Mr Jai Prior, previously revealed his own name regarding the false allegation he made on his own profile social website on bebo.com. It is a damn shame police make no mention of his accomplice in the (now aknowledged by police) false allegation, Mr Ben Lawson Pearce. Both of whom are complicit, along with police conduct for my attempted suicide & discrediting & disbanding of the 2007 Cornwall LGBT Beach Day!

Have Mr Jai Prior & Mr Lawson Pearce been prosecuted?...Sadly, No, as that would surely mean the police homophobic conduct being re-examined also!

This and other Cornwall Police misconduct reported, but NEVER investigated!

Now we need the dishonesty & corruption of previous Cornwall police misconduct (in particular that of DC Scott) and by numerous police officers lies, dishonesty, and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice by police suppression of evidence & numerous witness statements from a Court of law.

In addition, there is a need to investigate & re-examined police conduct since 2004 when members of Devon & Cornwall Constabulary began their homophobic motivated vendetta against me as an ‘out’ gay man!

Leading gay and human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell will be appearing at Cornwall Pride, the annual lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender festival for Cornwall, which will take place in Truro on Saturday 8 August.

Tatchell has been a vocal campaigner on equality and rights issues for over 30 years. He is best known for attempting to citizen’s-arrest the Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe in 1999 and 2001 over alleged human rights abuses. In May 2009 Tatchell was held by authorities in Moscow following his support for a gay rights march in that city to coincide with the Eurovision song contest.

This is the first appearance by Tatchell at a Cornwall Pride event, but he is no stranger to controversy in the county, having previously called for increased self-rule for Cornwall and its own parliamentary assembly.

Tatchell will be leading the Cornwall Pride parade through Truro, leaving from Lemon Quay at 11am. He said: "I am looking forward to attending Cornwall Pride. I hope that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people from all over Cornwall will join me on 8 August in Truro, and bring your straight friends too because it’s going to be a fabulous party day for all the people of Cornwall.”

“This year we are celebrating 40 years since the Stonewall riots in New York, which triggered the worldwide movement for LGBT rights.

“The Pride festival is fun, but there is also a serious side. We are still campaigning for LGBT equality.

“The LGBT community has made great strides towards equality, but we have not yet won equal treatment. There is unfinished business.

“The government supports the ban on same-sex marriage. Civil partnerships are not equality. They are a form of sexual apartheid, with different laws for gay and straight couples. This is wrong. In a democracy, we should all be equal under the law.

“Gay and bisexual men are prohibited from donating blood, even if they always practice safe sex and have tested HIV-negative.

“Successive Home Secretaries have given visas and work permits to reggae singers who incite the murder of gay people. Such incitement is a serious criminal offence.

ILGA-Europe prints maps on legal situation for LGB people in Europe

Just because countries may be part of the European Union or wider Europe, does not mean we are all playing by the same rules.

Prior to OutGames and its International Human Rights Conference in Copenhagen at the end of this month where ILGA-Europe take part, ILGA have published a map of Europe reflecting the legal situation for lesbian, gay and bisexual people.

The ‘Rainbow Europe’ map reflects legal advances such as protection from discrimination, recognition of LGB families and parenting rights, inclusion of sexual orientation in hate speech/crime legislation.

The map also highlights the ‘darker’ corners of ‘Rainbow Europe’ where there is still criminalisation of consenting same-sex acts, unequal age of consent and where Pride events have been banned during last 10 years.

Summary of the mapped legal situation for lesbian, gay and bisexual people in Europe:

Fundamentalist Christian churches in Britain are performing exorcisms on lesbian and gay people in a bid to purge them of their homosexuality.

"The exorcism rituals involve the casting out of alleged demons and witches that supposedly possess a gay person's soul and turn them away from heterosexuality," said LGBT human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell of OutRage!

"There are claims that gay teenagers and young adults are being subjected to exorcisms at the insistence of their parents and pastors, in an attempt to rid them of same-sex attraction.

"The exorcisms can include traumatic emotional scenes where the victims are surrounded by a group of church elders who scream at them to drive out the evil spirits and who sometimes shake their bodies.

"When this is done to youngsters under 18, it is a form of child abuse and the police should intervene to stop it

"Some gay adults have been pressured into exorcisms by their family members or faith communities. Other victims are people with learning difficulties or mental health problems. They have been preyed upon when they are in a vulnerable state and are not capable of giving fully informed consent.

"There needs to be a thorough police investigation of all the churches that are doing these exorcisms," said Mr Tatchell.

One London church admits it does exorcisms on four or five gay people every year. This church, United Pentecostal Ministry in Harrow north London, was exposed by The Metro newspaper late last month:

The church pastor, Rev John Ogbe-Ogbeide, said he did the ritual to cast out the demons and evil spirits that he believes are responsible for homosexuality. Sometimes people were calm during the process but sometimes their body convulsed, he conceded.

Exorcisms can be performed on gay children or on those who are suspected to be gay. There is no minimum age for the exorcism ceremony because a demon could possess a person at any age in life and could incline them to "wrong" sexual thoughts and behaviour, said Rev Ogbe-Ogbeide.

"United Pentecostal Ministry says it performs four or five exorcisms on gay people each year. It is just one of hundreds of fundamentalist churches in Britain. Gay exorcisms are likely to be performed in many of them. It is possible that dozens or even hundreds of LGBT people could be subjected to exorcism abuse in the UK. Because it takes place behind closed church doors and is kept secret, it is impossible to give an accurate assessment of the numbers involved," added Mr Tatchell.

2) Ask your MP to press the police to investigate this church and other churches who perform exorcisms on gay people, in order to check that criminal acts of assault and homophobic abuse are not taking place. Cite the Metro letter below as evidence.

3) Report Rev John Ogbe-Ogbeide to your local police. Ask them to commence a criminal investigation to determine if the law is being broken. Give them a copy of the Metro article that follows as evidence.

4) Report what responses you get to the LGBT press and to the local paper.

Gay exorcisms are regularly being performed in Christian churches in Britain, it has emerged.

The ceremony is being carried out to rid worshippers of the supposed demons which make them homosexual.

The pastor of one Pentecostal church in north-west London said he held four or five exorcisms a year and claimed they always worked.

However, gay campaigners said the 20-minute ritual often traumatised those on whom it was carried out.

Details of the practice emerged after a video of the exorcism of a 16-year-old American boy was posted on YouTube.

The footage was taken down amid calls for the church leaders involved to be prosecuted.

Here, the Rev John Ogbe-Ogbeide, who runs the United Pentecostal Ministry in Harrow, said he carried out the ritual to cast out evil spirits that were responsible for homosexuality.

He added: 'The evil spirits are telling you what's wrong is right, the opposite sex is not attractive.'

There was no minimum age for the ceremony because a demon could take hold at any point in life, said Mr Ogbe-Ogbeide.

Sometimes people were calm during the process but sometimes their body convulsed.

'There are some who speak but we know this is the demon. The demon can speak through anybody,' he added.

Mr Ogbe-Ogbeide last performed the ritual in January to help a young man, who was planning to marry his girlfriend but said he was also in love with another man.

He added: 'He said if it carried on it would upset their plans to have kids and he wanted to live in matrimony.'

But the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement said it was frequently contacted by people left traumatised by the experience.

Chief executive the Rev Sharon Ferguson, said 'a lot of fundamentalist groups believe homosexuality can be cured'.
Human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell said he had heard of exorcisms on children, which was child abuse 'pure and simple'.

He added: 'Some adults who have been pressured into exorcisms have been preyed upon when they're in a vulnerable state and not really able give fully informed consent.

'They're maybe people with learning difficulties or mental health problems. There needs to be a thorough investigation of all the churches who are doing these exorcisms.'

In March, it was revealed that a fifth of therapists, many in the pay of the NHS, had attempted to 'cure' patients of homosexuality.

New figures released this week show that London gay hate crime figures have soared – and Metropolitan Police are actually calling this a “positive sign”.

Since June 2008, London has seen an overall increase of 13.5% in reported homophobic crimes.

A spokesperson from the Met is reported as having said that the figures showed that reporting has increased.

“We see this as a positive sign. People from this community are increasingly reporting crimes to the police, and although we are aware of and concerned about under-reporting, we are taking a range of measures to encourage people to come forward – working with our partners, making sure that victims feel safe, and promoting arrests and prosecution of perpetrators.”

But it remains difficult to say whether these figures show an increase in reporting, or rather an increase in actual gay hate crimes – there are no figures to show homophobic crimes that were previously not reported to police, so there is no benchmark to show that victims have greater confidence in the police.

…and then there is the risk element of reporting homophobic incidents to the police.

Having reported a homophobic crime myself to police in Cornwall, I had a surely police sergeant come out to take a statement. I had ensured I had a witness present, since I personally do not trust the police at all on gay issues. My witness to the statement taking happened to be strongly involved in a local lesbian women’s group. The officer could barely contain his hostility and the atmosphere was extremely tense.

The police sergeant (from Helston, in Cornwall), POINT BLANK refused to take a statement from an adult male gay witness who had observed the entire incident. The complaint for an attempted extortion crime was dropped by police & they refused to interview the other gay witness.

Pretty much what we have come to expect of Cornwall police attitudes towards crimes committed against gay persons.

BUT, that was not the worst, having identified myself to police, a short time later the same police officer targeted & stopped me, by his own admission (again in front of a witness) because as he stated at the time he recognised me as a gay man who had made a complaint & recognised my vehicle.

Despite a complaint having being made against this officer, the complaint has been completely ignored by both Devon & Cornwall Headquarters & the Diversity Unit. There is NO honesty operating within the Cornwall police force when it comes to misconduct & criminality, failure of duty, etc. etc of their own police officers.

We know there is still a huge problem of homophobic hate crimes & the attitudes & practises within the police to hate crime against gay people. This is made worse by the refusal of police to address the homophobes within their own ranks.

Extreme caution should still be exercised by gay persons reporting a homophobic incident & identifying themselves as gay to the police, whilst senior officers like those in Cornwall continue to protect homophobes within their rank.

As to how police consider an increase in homophobic crimes is an ‘improvement’, no doubt the police also consider the four gay suicides in Cornwall last year as a successful conclusion to mental health problems?

Galop, London’s LGBT community safety charity, has been reported as not been so quick to assess the police figures regarding an increase in homophobic crime incidents as an improvement.

“It’s a very difficult thing to judge,” Deborah Gold, Galop’s chief executive is reported as having said. “It probably does show that more people are reporting, because in our own figures, we don’t have evidence of an enormous increase in homophobic crimes.

“But we have also not seen a decrease – and that, in itself, is a concern.”

“Recently, there have been massive legal changes, and you would expect to see, alongside those, a massive decrease in homophobic crime. But that hasn’t happened.”

PinkPasty:- Given my experience of homophobic attitudes & practises of Cornwall police officers, including some of those within the diversity unit...quite frankly, I’m not surprised that there has not been a decline in homophobic hate crimes in the UK.

I've felt it for some time that those in the ivory tower of GLBT Stonewall safe within the homosexual ghetto of the M25 enclave, have sort of lost touch with other gay people who live with the reality of impact & affect of daily homophobia & continued institutional discrimination in the UK.

I really got this when STONEWALL sent a list of lawyers who (mainly would not practise West of Bristol for less than £400/hr) this list sent to a homeless 15yr old gay youth in Cornwall when he asked for help from Stonewall(unsuccessfully)...if he could afford a lawyer at £400/hr he would not have been living on the streets, bit difficult for STONEWALL to grasp that & don't forget Intercom Trust would not lift a finger to assist the youth, to busy with their mewling & crawling to doff their groveling cap & touch their forlock to Devon & Cornwall Constabulary homophobes!

As you can imagine the homeless 15yr old youth got ZERO, NO legal or any other help from Stonewall (or Intercom Trust) regarding the abuses he suffered from homophobic Cornwall Social Services (Jim Walters amongst many other Cornwall Social Services employees) & Devon & Cornwall Constabulary employees( DC Magnus Scott amongst many other police officers).

Now Stonewall is selling out more widely GLBT people (again) over the Equality Bill.

"The Equality Bill should be renamed the Inequality Bill. While other vulnerable groups are protected against harassment, protection is denied to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people. We are explicitly excluded from the anti-harassment clauses of the Bill," said Peter Tatchell of the LGBT human rights group OutRage!.

"This legislation was supposed to harmonise and standardise all equality laws, so that everyone has the same rights and protection. Sadly, it enshrines in law discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

"The leading gay lobby group, Stonewall, supports this discriminatory legislation, claiming that homophobic and transphobic harassment are not significant problems and can be dealt with under existing legislation.

"Stonewall boasts that its stated purpose is to "promote equality," yet it is ignoring the unequal treatment of LGBT people in this Bill. This collusion with discrimination reinforces the fear that Stonewall has compromised its political independence and is too closely identified with the Labour government.

"At the same time that Stonewall is laudably campaigning against homophobic bullying in schools, it is supporting legislation that effectively allows school authorities to harass LGBT pupils. Schools are exempt.

"The so-called Equality Bill denies protection against homophobic harassment by school authorities, by the owners and managers of properties and by the providers of services. Such harassment is outlawed on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, race and sex but not on the grounds of sexual orientation.

"This omission gives a green light to homophobes. They won't face sanctions for homophobic harassment under this proposed law.

"Exempting schools from the anti-harassment clauses is particularly shocking and unforgiveable, given the widespread bullying of lesbian and gay pupils. We urge the government to amend the Equality Bill immediately.

"The legislation has an anti-transgender bias. Protection against harassment is restricted to those people who are proposing or have undergone gender reassignment, and transgender pupils in schools are excluded from the Bill's anti-harassment protections.

"The definition of transgender people is too narrow. Those who are not yet planning or have not yet undergone gender reassignment are not protected by the Equality Bill. The legislation should be amended to give protection on the wider grounds of gender identity, not the narrow grounds of gender reassignment.

"The Equality Bill has the overall good intention of harmonising and equalising all equality laws, to create a level legislative playing field. But this positive goal is undermined by the government's recent announcement that it plans to exempt faith schools from its action plan to tackle homophobic prejudice and bullying. They will be allowed to teach sex and relationship education in accordance with their own religious values, which often include the idea that gay people are sinners, unnatural, immoral and inferior human beings.

"Such values reinforce homophobia, which can lead to homophobic harassment, discrimination and violence,"

The entire judicial process & legal system more concerned with how much money they can make than it is in justice & protecting the ordinary citizen in the UK from institutional abuses & violations, attacks in particular HOMOPHOBIA by police upon Human rights & civil liberties.

IPCC raise Cornwall Police failure to follow procedure

IPCC raise Cornwall Police failure to follow procedure

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) have written to me (10/07/09) because Devon & Cornwall Constabulary Professional Standards Unit have failed to record a decision within the 14 days allowed regarding the catalogue of previously reported complaints which have not been investigated, accumulative abuses, failure of duty of care, homophobic attitudes & practices as carried out by named and/or identifiable police officers primarily from Camborne & Helston police stations from 2004 up until-2009, on going.

This has become the commonplace benchmark behaviour of Devon & Cornwall’s contempt (corruption) towards gay persons making complaint of homophobic conduct of numerous Cornwall police officers. This police delaying tactic only further compounds the original police abuse.

Police seem to rely upon gay complaintents becoming intimidated or frustrated by their police administrative delays into giving up pursuing legitimate grievances against police. That has been our vile experience of Devon & Cornwall police contempt towards gay persons since 2004-to-2009, up until the current & present police action.

This has been compounded by the Devon & Cornwall FOI (Freedom of Information Act) requests regarding complaints about police homophobia, first being denied to Lord Mc Dowell as being too great, taking in excess of 18hours. Then when individual request were made to Devon & Cornwall Constabulary, this was deemed as vexatious and refused (All the individual requests are interconnected due to the homophobic targeted gay victim/s of Cornwall police abuses, etc).

There is a sinister, genuine and serious problem operative as normal acceptable practise within the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary in its attitudes & practises in further victimising gay persons and no accountability or responsibility taken within the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary for failures to even follow legal laid down procedure.

An IPCC appeal form has been completed and sent to the IPPC regarding the multiple complaints referred to the PSD by the IPCC, not being recorded (ignored) by the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary Professional Standards Department. Further adding to the abuse of the gay victims of police abuse by the (in our experience) obtuse, arrogant & contemptuous way in which complaints made by gay persons are repeatedly & systematically dismissively handled by Devon & Cornwall constabulary, under the command of Chief Constable Stephen Otter.

...And so the Homophobic attitudes & practises of Devon & Cornwall Constabulary continue in 2009.

Then there are those police officers ABOVE those named, who hide behind their senior rank position, but FAIL to take any accoutability or responsibility for the combined abusive & impact affect of police officers theoretically under their command. (which is probably why Devon & Cornwall Constabulary is one of the most complained about of the 43 police forces in Britain).

Chief Constable Stephen Otter, (the hilariously & laughably appointed ACPO lead on "Equality & Diversity" whilst his police officers are still allowed to compound homophobia).

Not forgetting Cornwall Police Authority who PROTECT abuses carried out by Devon & Cornwall police

...and the ineffectual toothless poodle, the IPCC (who even by their own admission did not bother to interview x14 named witnesses) and who completly disregarded entire swaths of interrelated complaints reported to them regarding the above police officers since 2004.

Yes, the above named police officers(& a few I inadvetantly missed) are directly responsible for not only creation of this blog (& my youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/thepinkpasty), but also the genuine need for its continuence!

I guess these police officers truely created my role as a citizen journalist reporting through this blog & other various other channels due to Cornwall police attitudes, abuse practises & violations against gay persons.

That's what can happen when police violate a mans lawful & legal life as a gay man, because I was taught to stand up to bullies, regardless what unifoirm they hide their homophobic prejuidice & discrimination behind, whether Nazi, BNP or Devon & Cornwall Constabulary...there is little difference in my experience?

Of course thats not say I do not live in perpetual fear of Cornwall's homophobic police & I do sleep with a cricket bat beside me, following the most recent attack upon our home. With Cornwall police, who needs Neo-nazi's?

KAPO: a term used for certain prisoners who worked inside German Nazi concentration camps during World War II in various lower positions of authority over other death camp prisoners.

KAPO’s in the Nazi death camps received more privileges than normal prisoners, towards whom they were often extremely brutal. The KAPO were offered this work in exchange for a better terms & conditions, increased rations, power over other inmates, etc.

One objective of the Nazi appointed KAPO was to single out other death camp inmates most likely to be dissident, or potential organizers of resistance to Nazi camp regime. By this additional method, along with beatings, starving & other treatment the general death camp populations were cowed & kept in order like sheep by the Nazi lap dogs, the KAPO.

There are some in today’s gay population who are in effect acting as watered down neo-KAPO to today’s Cornish authorities, which continue to exercise homophobic attitudes & practices towards & against gay persons in Cornwall.

These neo-KAPO’s in some GLBT organisations, carry out the bidding of their masters & sell their souls to their STR8 fund providers or for personal or commercial gain. These same neo-KAPO desperate to ’heterosexualise’ homosexuality by assimilating gay people into the STR8 heterosexual Borg hive collective. These neo-KAPO in GLBT groups, projects & organizations actively ostracize & exclude those gay persons who may voice a dissident opinion & dare complain due to knowledge & experience of continuing prejudicial homophobic activities within Cornish statutory organizations, the KAPO’s masters.

Lord knows it was made very plan to myself & other gay persons who had experienced Cornwall police homophobia, that we as GLBT activists & campaigners were NOT welcome at the 2008 Cornwall Pride event in which the homophobic Cornwall police had considerable influence & exercised some considerable control in 2008.

They might just as well flown a pair of the Chief Constables stained Y-fronts from Truro police station last year instead of the Rainbow flag, since it will take more than that to erase decades of police abuse of gay people in Cornwall. Some of us remember the illegal & against Home Office directives use of police entrapment techniques used regularly by Cornish police in the past. Amongst other far more recent & intended homophobic abuses of gay people right up until the present.

The modern gay neo-KAPO marginalize & vilify any gay person who may dare be critical or express their experience of institutional homophobia, in particular that of continuing affects of police abuse

Such is the case with some GLBT groups & organizations operating in Cornwall today.

Neo-KAPO gays within organizations have refused to assist Cornish gay youth abused by Cornwall police & social services. These same neo-KAPO gays have refused to help gay persons victims of homophobic assaults & even abuse by Cornwall police. These neo-KAPO gays have excluded gay persons from GLBT groups & organizations in Cornwall.

It is for that reason I strongly advise any gay person abused by police (or any other) NOT to involve the Intercom Trust.

Some neo-KAPO gays have even gone so far as to attack & have vilified Cornish artists, in particular the branding of Henry Scott Tuke RA (Royal Academy) as a pedophile & excluded Tukes historic & acclaimed iconic homocentic art from LGBT history in the southwest.

Much of Tukes work can be found in Britain’s most prestigious galleries & museums, even the Daily Mail (not known for being homo friendly) promoted the largest ever Tuke exhibition held in Cornwall’s Truro city museum last year. Many of the paintings loaned by prolific Tuke collector, Sir Elton John, but condemned by Intercom Trust as pedophilia.

(Human Rights campaigner Peter Tatchell spoke out against Intercom Trust prejudicial condemnation of Tukes work & Intercom’s attack upon Cornish history. The British Government Equality & Human Rights Commission indicated in writing it may be a breach of the Human Rights act by the particular GLBT Devon based organization responsible, but Cornwall police chose not to act against their housetrained gay-KAPO)

Some neo-KAPO gays have denied other gay persons access to health services in Cornwall through the so-called Healthy Gay Cornwall project.

Other neo-KAPO gays have declined to investigate homophobic abuses carried out by their homophobic Cornwall police colleagues. Such is the desperate simpering & fawning of some gay neo-KAPO to appease their straight & still homophobic masters in Cornwall

The KAPO of WWII were despised & hated by the rest of Jewish & others of the Nazi death camp inmates for the KAPO corroboration with the Nazi. In particular, Jewish KAPO, who sold out, abused, brutalised & even murdered other Jews, over whom they exercised control at their Nazi masters behest.

Today’s gay neo-KAPO in some GLBT organisations operating in Cornwall are more subtle in their treatment of gays who the KAPO’s masters want vilified, controlled even silenced

The role of the KAPO to carry out the bidding of authority abuses & violations over their own people over whom the KAPO exercised control has been described in many books, among them Primo Levi's 'If This is a Man' and Viktor Frankl's 'Man's Search for Meaning', the latter treating it from a psychiatrist's standpoint. It is also mentioned in Elie Wiesel's autobiography 'Night', Art Spiegelman's graphic novel 'Maus', and is featured in the Gillo Pontecorvo movie 'Kapò'.

There are plenty of parallels with today’s neo-KAPO gays in Cornwall willing to sell out other gays who dare speak out regarding continuing homophobia, report or who have experienced homophobic abuse, and anti-gay practices by their gay neo-KAPO's masters:_ie. loathsome homophobic Cornwall police, health authority or Cornwall Council.

Following WWII some Nazi x-KAPO were executed by the allies for their war crimes for the Kapo’s corroboration with the Nazi, the KAPO role in running of death camps, & their brutal treatment of other death camp inmates.

Remember gay people are only EVER one election away from the gas chambers!

Berlin in the early 1930’s considered the most gay friendly capital city in the world. In just a few short years according to the Nazi own records 100,000 GLBT persons had been rounded up and sent to prison under 175 of the German Penal code. The Tory party has recently gotten into bed & snuggled down with a right wing Polish political part in European Parliament which wishes to criminalise gay persons. Conservative love of section 28 & opposition to gay equality is after all a matter of record.

There is no doubt in my mind that the majority of Cornwall’s police, who although they may be precluded from joining the NEO-FASCIST British National Party undoubtedly hold BNP homophobic views on homosexuality based on my experience of Cornwall police attitudes & practices of Cornwall police officers based at Camborne & Helston police stations.

There must be British Armed Forces corpses who died fighting Nazi fascism in WWII, spinning in their graves from the D-Day landings through to the Berlin Brandenburg gates given that 60,000 people in the South West actually VOTED for BNP fascism at the recent European Election.

How many of those voters were police officers one has to wonder?

The gay neo-KAPO in some of Cornwall’s gay organizations quite happy to contribute in the process of driving institutionally abused gay persons to attempted suicide. (Let us not forget there were four known gay male suicides in Cornwall in 2008 & several other non-related attempted suicides by other gay persons in Cornwall, some as a DIRECT result of police conduct & contributed too by the Cornish gay neo-KAPO)

With cruising a way in which some gay/bisexual men meet others in particular in primarily rural areas like the southwest (Cornwall & Devon) where alternative opportunities to liaise & socialize, or just have sex are few and far between.

The recent activities of homophobes running a website against gay cruising in Devon are causing considerable concern. Hayle Towans in Cornwall & other such sites may well be targeted next by these anti-gay vigilantes.

Pinknews website is reporting that the Information Commissioner is to investigate a SouthWest anti-cruising website after an exclusive report by PinkNews.co.uk.

The anti-cruising website, set up to raise awareness of the "disgusting" practice of gay men meeting for sex, publishes uncensored images of car registration plates and faces of men allegedly involved in Devon.

http://www.cruisingscene.co.uk focuses on the Haldon area of Devon, near Exeter. Local residents have previously complained about finding used condoms and tissues in the area.

The anti-gay website warns: "All over the country there is a disgusting underground world that most decent members of society have little or no knowledge of. This world is one where outwardly heterosexual men with wives and families at home go out 'cruising'.

It adds: "Many of these men partake in unprotected sex with each other, indeed their preferences are advertised for all to see on the websites referred to above. They then obviously go home to their families and will resume 'normal sexual relations' within that home, passing on goodness knows what disease to these completely innocent people."

The irony is the area is frequently used by Heterosexual’s for the sexual activity & practice of ‘dogging’ but there is no mention or alluding to this fact by the anti -gay cruising site.

Several PinkNews.co.uk readers voiced their concerns about the anti-gay website. One reader, who wished to remain anonymous, said the site was "vile" and "homophobic". Word is that Devon & Cornwall police response has been weak & insipid to concerns expressed by gay persons.

"What is really worrying is what … this sort of vigilantism can lead to. The Sexual Offences Act of 2003 was supposed to mean that we can now meet in public, but if we have to tolerate this sort of one-sided behavior, then no real gains in our freedom has been achieved.
"Cruising areas, in rural areas especially, mean a place where gay and bisexual men can meet, as usually the surrounding towns and villages are poorly served by gay bars."

This a particular problem in the south west

Cruising areas near some major cities in the UK are being reported as being targeted by vigilante gangs of youths of particular fervent ethnic religious views & background, and intimidating and threatening gay/bisexual persons at these sites. This sort of anti-gay practice with encouragement of such an anti-gay website is likely to spread further to the South West.

Although the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) was initially unsure whether the anti-gay cruising site was breaching data protection laws, it is now launching an investigation.

An ICO spokesman is supposed to have said "We will be investigating this website to establish if it is processing personal data and if so, whether it is in compliance with the Data Protection Act."

One company, whose van was featured on the website with its registration number and company details clearly visible, said its vehicle was not in the area for cruising, adding it would be contacting the ICO to have the image removed.

Stephen Loughrey of Carter-Ruck, a law firm which specialises in libel and privacy law is reported as having said "In my view this is a gross invasion of the privacy of the people whose photographs have been published. The activity being reported upon here is consensual sex between adults. While it is distinguishable from the circumstances of the Mosley case (in that the activity being reported upon is happening in public), there is no public interest in publishing unpixalated photographs showing the car number plates and faces of those purportedly engaging in this activity.
"Although the individuals involved may not have a reasonable expectation of privacy while engaging in the activity, they have a legitimate and entirely reasonable expectation that photographs of them doing so will not be published to the world at large.
"While the activity may potentially constitute a minor public order offence (if for example local people have raised complaint), the degree of the intrusion into the private lives of those pictured is not proportionate to the public interest supposedly being served by the publication."

The response of one commentator on Pink News website was:-
"Living in Exeter, I have to say that Haldon is notorious for dogging as well as for gay cruising, so it is definitely homophobic to single out "gay" men for particular condemnation. The website cruising.co.uk makes the point that up to 80% of men cruising for sex with men are "straight" (interesting to see how they collected that statistic?).

There was an alleged policewoman threatening to patrol and prosecute men who frequent cruising areas in the south west a couple of years ago, and who posted the same on cruising sites (Haldon was a specific target then!). So the source of this latest attack must include Devon and Cornwall police in its list of suspects, simply because the local police have tolerated this sort of homophobic practise from within their own ranks before, and frankly the local "LGBT liason officers" are not worth their salaries in effective, or affirmative action. No wonder Exeter Police have not replied!

The kind of condemnation of homosexuality seen in this website seems to be a direct attempt to influence those who are closeted about their sexuality; married men, and men who feel they can not live openly with the burden of being "out" and facing the social stigma that still remains in Britain today, largely peddled by the sort of person who reads the Daily Mail, the Sun, or believes Doris Karloff (a.k.a. Anne Widdecombe who is moving here, probably to further support the homo-phobic Evangelical Christian Union's efforts to undermine the University's Equality and Diversity commitments like she did last year).

Whatever your personal feelings are towards cruising, frankly we should not condemn people who feel this is the only way they can express their sexuality. Paradoxically, this sort of contact can seem to some to be anonymous, and the only way they can fulfil their desire, away from their families or colleagues, or from public bars where they may be known, or from contact websites where they may feel exposed.

If we do not speak for those who are voiceless; the clandestine, the fearful, the anonymous; if we do not defend those, then who will speak up or defend us? We must recognise that a lot of this sexual behaviour is a reaction to society's ongoing demonisation of homosexuality, especially from the religious right. The crushing society norms force men to fulfill their desires at anonymous cruising sites rather than openly in normal social contexts (including websites), since these are hetero-centric and only the "out" gay man can legitimately exist there, and then only on suspicious sufferance. Such "normalising" behaviour militates against the multiple sexual identities of many men.

It is time we stopped trying to "heterosexualise" homosexuality by aping false heterosexual identities (like the monogamous, christian, married couple) and supported a more rounded view of sexuality that, while including monogamy, also accepts the legitimacy of polygamy and polyamory and other sexual expression.
If we did a little more of that, and got society to see how it demonises itself (since most heterosexuals who attempt monogamy eventually fail), then perhaps the need for such spaces would diminish.

I also have to add that the disappointment felt towards Intercom (Trust) mainly stems from its own "hetero-normative" stance. As an organisation it alienated many Cornish people earlier this year by accusing a famous dead Cornish artist (Henry Scott Tuke) of being a paedophile. The artist is bound up in the Cornish discourse of identity, so Intercom was particularly insensitive and deserves its many criticisms".

Other gay persons have also expressed grave concern that gay men involved in any homophobic incident regarding cruising or conflict with police regarding their sexuality should NOT under ANY circumstance involve the Intercom Trust.

The anti-gay cruising site website's domain name listed as belonging to the cartoon character "Scooby Doo". But 123-Reg, PinkNews.co.uk report the company that processed the domain name registration, told PinkNews.co.uk that they believe the name belongs to a Mike Rowland. The rest of the information they have on file is fake so it is difficult to trace him.

Professor Peter Sommer, a well-known expert in privacy and data protection at the London School of Economics, is reported by PinkNews.co.uk as having said "If the pictures were taken in a public place, there is probably no protection the Information Commissioner can give. But there is possible protection under privacy rights in human rights laws, such as those used by celebrities who have been photographed with their children or worse for wear coming out of a nightclub. Whether there is a public interest is arguable."

PinkNews.co.uk reported they had contacted Exeter police but have yet to receive a response.

Other gay channels report Devon & Cornwall Constabulary response had been weak.
