(The truth is…. Devon & Cornwall Constabulary simply continue to ignore reports from gay persons of homophobic attitudes, practices & even criminality carried out by Cornwall police officers)

• To improve our policing service to minority groups we have appointed Diversity Officers across the Force. These officers are working closely with community groups and are available to provide help and advice.
(The truth is…. gay persons who DARE complain about homophobic attitudes & practices of police are EXCLUDED from the simpering & fawning gay groups (like LGBT PACT, Intercom Trust & Pride) these groups eager to isolate gay victims of police abuse due to blatant lies told by the homophobic Devon & Cornwall Constabulary)

• You may speak to them in confidence and you don't have to give your name if you don't want to. We are committed to dealing robustly (RUBBISH!!!) with hate crime. But we can only tackle this problem with your help.
(The truth is….this is yet another blatant LIE from Devon & Cornwall Constabulary… my having been homophobically assaulted twice, an attempted extortion attempt against me as a gay man, theft from my property, homophobic motivated allegations which police were VERY keen to abusively act on, my vehicles smashed up on my own property, hate calls, death threats
…but has a Devon & Cornwall Diversity officer EVER been within a hundred yards…knowing that SOME of these homophobic events & incidents have been instigated by their own police colleagues, No…not a Devon & Cornwall diversity officer in sight!)

(The truth is…. I have reported homophobic incident after incident. ALL of which have been ignored by the homophobic Devon & Cornwall Constabulary)

• We understand that it may be difficult for all sorts of reasons to come forward but we need to hear from you if you have been a victim or if you are a witness to an incident. We will not dismiss your complaint. You will be treated with sensitivity and your complaint will be investigated thoroughly.
(The truth is….report the crime, I always do…but I DO NOT EXPECT Devon & Cornwall police officers to act with ANY honesty, integrity, impartiality or transparency of conduct towards me as a gay person, based on numerous previous experiences of Cornwall police homophobia towards gay persons…also in reporting a homophobic crime I now EXPECT to be targeted as a gay person (by the police officers own admission) by homophobic police scum officers like Sergeant Rowe from Helston.

…and if you become a target of homophobic motivated allegations & the police abuse which follows…what can you expect from the homophobic Devon & Cornwall police?

Unfortunately the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary statement regarding ‘Respect & Dignity’ is a fallacy, it is ‘smoke & mirrors’, spin, when it comes to their continued abusive & prejudicial treatment of many gay persons.

To my personal knowledge you can expect:-
• Your underwear to be rifled through and waved about in a house search
• Property seized but NOT returned
• Your business to be adversely affected by police dishonesty & corruption
• Witness statements to be ignored if they implicate police criminality & abuse
• Threats & intimidation if you make a formal complaint against police as a gay person
• Physical evidence to be ignored, lost or hidden by police
• Witnesses to be intimidated, mislead or lied to by Cornwall police
• Your complaints received to be denied (even though you have an automated response record of the complaints sent to Devon & Cornwall Constabulary HQ)
• Refusal by police to interview Gay witnesses!!! (Sergeant Rowe again)

The actual list is far, far longer.

The bottom line. Devon & Cornwall police homophobic attitudes & practices towards gay person by dishonest, corrupt & homophobic police officers like those named below are STILL the primary problem regarding HATE CRIME against gay persons & homophobic incidents.

Not ONE of the named police officers below is honest or trustworthy in my own personal & direct factual knowledge & experience when dealing with gay persons.
NOT ONE…including (if not especially) Chief Constable Otter, who ignores repeatedly correspondence on multiple homophobic incidents involving HIS police officers !

Many gays seem to have forgotten that PRIDE was a Protest & Stonewall was a Riot against homophobic police abuse! Nothing has truly changed within policing attitudes against gay people!
