A Gay Iranian 19yr old boy faces homophobic authority

Pinkpasty:- I have just recieved this email. Please sign the petition. If ANYONE is in any doubt as to how the Iranian authorities view homosexuality, just look at the above photo of two teenage Iranian boys aged just 16yrs & 18yrs old who were executed for being gay in 2005.

Friends: On Tueday, you all recieved several messages from me regarding the case of the 19 year old gay Iranian boy now being held in Holland for deportation to England, where the Home Office has already said it would further deport him back to Iran, even though this will mean his certain torture and execution for being gay. I mentioned my friend Peter Tatchell regarding advocates for this boy. Peter has since informed me that the case is being handled by Omar Kuddus, head of an organization in England named Gay Asylum that works for asylum for gay refugees. I have been in touch with Omar, who is not asking for donations at this time regarding Mahdi (the 19 year old) but who has organized a petition drive. The petition is very important and will have an affect on the authorities and their decisions in this case, if it garners enough signatures world-wide. Please go to the link above, read the details of the case and add your name to the on-line petition. Please do so at onc e, as time is of the essence. Please also forward this message to everyone you can think of who might take an interest in saving this boy's life.

I emphasize that the facts of this case are not in dispute. Anyone who knows Peter Tatchell or is familiar with his world-wide reputation for integrity as an in-the-trenches, leading activst for queer rights, knows that anyone, any case or any organization he recommends is to be be given the utmost consideration.
